Our residential log cabins are made from winter cut and rested Nordic wood.
Due to the short and dry vegetation period the timber gains extraordinary hardness and exceeds beauty and sturdiness of Middle European timber.

You can select between different block log thickness, round or squared logs.

Natural climate regulation: Wood has a high thermal efficiency. It regulates humidity in the rooms on a natural way. Furthermore wood has good sound insulation and filtering features. Odours are absorbed quickly.

Our specialist team advises you detailed. We help you with financing questions. On customer demand our architects will work out static and ask for building allowance.

Thermal efficiency

The k-value

The smaller the k-value, the smaller the heat loss.

Example: A Steinhauer Blockhaus with our unique "Bio-Insulation-Plus Wall System" reaches a k-value of 0,269. With our low energy house design even only a k-value of 0,218!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Electronic climate

Environmental awareness

Timber is the only inexhaustible building material. If the Steinhauer company cuts a tree, a new one is planted.

Finland is in Europe number 1 in forestry. The manufacture of wooden products uses only few energy and does not cause waste which could not be recycled. Wooden products could be fully biologically decomposed.
